New Nickel Boron (NiB) Bolt Carrier Group for AR-15 Rifles. Made of tool steel, mil-spec components.
The nickel boron that is applied to the bolt carrier group is not merely a coating, it bonds with the metal at the molecular level so it will never chip, flake, rub away or build up carbon. The coating is permanent and is intended to last the entire lifespan of the treated parts. It is coated inside and out. The gas key ,cam pin , firing pin and extractor are not coated.
The main advantages of the coating is it creates a permanently lubricated surface reducing the friction, eliminating the need for excessive lubrication.
